The capital city is packed with historic buildlings, museums and monuments. Christiania is an area of 85 acres within the city of Copenhagen. The area was started over 30 years by hippy or free thinkin individuals. Christiania residents and the Danish government have had many clashes, primarily over drugs. Hash is widely available on a stret in the area known as "pusher street". But city residents seem to tolerate the area. The coast north of Copenhagen is known as the "Danish Riviera" this is were the wealthy of Denmark live, in the area is the Karen Blixen Museum (famous for Out of Africa), and Louisiana, modern art museum. |

Funen is connected to Jutland by bridges, it is known as the "Garden or Denmark". It is home to some of the countries finest castles and Manor houses. Odense Egeskov Castle (Oak-forset Castle) is a moated renaissance castle with stunning gardens. |
