Danish Krone (DKR) = 100 re. Notes are in denominations of DKR1000, 500, 200, 100 and 50. Coins are in denominations of DKR20, 10, 5, 2 and 1, and 50 and 25 øre.
ATMs accept foreign cards
Credit cards are widely accepted, travellers cheques are easily cashed and can sometimes be used in shops.

EU, US Australian, New Zealand and Canadian passort holders are all entitled to a visa on entry for up to 30 days.

Health

There are no specific health risks associated with travel to Denmark.  The country is part of an EU agreement giving free health care to EU citizens, other nationalities will have to pay so Travel Insurance is reccommended.

Denmark has the mildest climate of the Scandinavain countries, but due to its close proximity to the sea the weather can be changeable. The West Coast gets some strong winds.
