Falls, Delta & Chobe - Specialist Tour
6 days, Starts: Livingstone, Zambia, Ends: Maun, Botswana
From spectacular Victoria Falls, this journey takes you to Chobe National Park in northeast Botswana. Chobe boasts one of the largest concentrations of game in all of Africa and with lush plains and dense forests, as well as various inland lakes and marsh areas, wildlife is particularly dynamic here. After a thrilling flight into the Okavango Delta, the world's largest inland delta, you will explore the prolific wildlife in this unique environment via traditional mokoro canoe and on walking safaris. The tour finishes in Maun, with easy air connections to Johannesburg.

Francistown, inhabited for 80,000 years, is the first stop, before travelling through the Kalahari desert to the Okavango Delta. Travel through the waterways of this National Park by traditional mokoro, spotting hippos and maybe even a sitatunga(antelope). Chobe's next for an evening river cruise and game drive before finishing at Victoria Falls. The sight and sound of 550,000 cubic metres of water cascading down every minute is truly incredible; combined with adventure sports and game viewing, it makes for a unique National Park.

See the mighty Victoria Falls and step back in time as you stand in David Livingstone's footsteps, gazing in awe at Devil's Cataract. Enjoy Chobe National Park with its large elephant herds and good opportunities to spot buffalo, lion and many species of plain's game. Look out for more wildlife as you fly over the watery wilderness of the Okavango Delta. Finally experience the stark, white landscape of the lunar like Makgadikgadi Pans. Victoria Falls - the smoke that thunders – is the start and end point of our Zambia & Botswana Family Adventure. Game drives, mokoro safaris, wild wilderness camps and of course activities galore around Victoria Falls makes this the trip of a lifetime. From Livingstone, it’s a short ferry ride across the mighty Zambezi River to Botswana. From our boat cruise along the Chobe River we spot elephants and hippos. We have a wild bush camp on the Makhadikhadi salt pans, and then travel out to the Okavango Delta, where local guides pole us along the channels of the Delta in our dug out canoes, as we enjoy an interactive wilderness experience. In Moremi Game Reserve, there is the chance of some fantastic game spotting from our open 4WD vehicles. Savuti National Park is famous for its large prides of lion, and many animals come in to drink at the waterholes. Back in Livingstone there is time to explore the Victoria Falls, and try some of the many optional activities.
